Hellooooo… I get to EAT here! Revealing my dining room transformation today with Overstock.com and couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out!!! If you’ve been following me along Instagram, you’ll know that I’ve been busy these past few months renovating my very own #happyhousedreams! I’ll be talking more about how I transformed my little, 1000-square foot home into my total dreamy dollhouse below, but first, a little more eye candy because… these chairs! That perfect shade of pink! That rug! This dining room table! Our wall hangings!!!!!

As soon as I got the house, I got SUPER busy pinning away all of my inspiration for this room. I knew I wanted some pink accents (duh!) and a fun portrait wall somewhere in the house, and the dining room was the perfect spot for it. The entire first floor is open concept, meaning you can see the kitchen, living room, and dining room all upon entering the front door. It’s a cute shotgun style and I chose to have white walls with fun accents all throughout the first floor. The kitchen and dining room is such a focal “hang-out” spot, so I knew it had to be good. When browsing Overstock.com, I skewed towards mid-century mod style pieces and am SO THRILLED with how everything turned out.

The Rosa dining room table is the perfect size for the space and comfortably fits four people (I can squeeze 5 whenever I am having a larger gathering over!). There’s a hint of brass and gold on the base to match my chandelier and kitchen handles, which really connects the two rooms together. My love for Hollywood Glam is forever alive every time I eat and entertain with this amazing statement piece table. And HELLLLLLO - no dining room is complete without some rainbow iridescent flatware. The Logan Mirror Rainbow Flatware makes me SO happy every time I host a dining party and is truly a talking piece for all my guests.

For the chairs, I had a REALLLLLY hard time deciding what color to get. Do I go with my gut and favorite hue, pink? Or will that be too girly? I came across these Modrest Brandy Modern pink velour chairs and had one of those heart-swoon-eyes-love-at-first-sight moments. They are the perfect accent color to the white and gold dining room table - and have hints of brass through their chrome frames. They truly transform the room! Plus, the velour makes them oh so comfy to sit in. Score!!

Behind my dining room table and chair setup is my beloved portrait wall. I knew I wanted to have a statement mid-century piece for storage underneath it, so I started searching Overstock.com for the perfect cabinet piece here. I knew I wanted something white to match the dining room table and white walls, but also wanted something with a bit of wood to tie into my house’s bar area and walnut ceiling beams in the living room. This mid-century white walnut storage is PERFECT! It’s functional with five shelving units to store various nick nacks and doesn’t have competing colors to perfectly accent my colorful portraits in the dining room.

The last piece for this room is the rug. This was probably the hardest decision to make because I didn’t know if I should go with someone bright and bold - or something a little bit more conservative. Then, I came across nuLOOM’s Moroccan Trellis Wool rug. For one, it’s shag so it’s SO comfy to walk on. And two, it’s vibrant and looks PERFECT against my hardwood floors. The fun trellis design complements the contemporary and mod style for the room so nicely and I love how it looks with my other pieces.
